Monikkr has been DJing and producing for fifteen years after growing up playing guitar in rock bands. Fusing his rock & roll background with his love for EDM, he created his signature sound, which he describes as “anything with an edge that can move the floor.” Constantly staying ahead of trends, fans could expect some glitch hop infused beats appearing on his Soundcloud page in the near future as he continues to diversify his sound.

With a growing fan base, big time gigs at Webster Hall, and opening for the likes of Skrillex, Dada Life, Zedd, Die Antwood, Bingo Players & Datsik, Monikkr is a name on the radar of electro loving club kids in the five boroughs of New York City and beyond. His NYC gigs also include Irving Plaza, Pacha, Hammerstein and Highline ballrooms. Monikkr also recently played at the Times Union Center in Albany with mega DJ Tiesto.

“My goal,” says Monikkr, “has and always will be to make the audience dance.” If his vast success over the years is any indication, he is certainly on the right track. He currently works out of his Brooklyn studio and is working on launching his new label ROCADENCE, his mixshows can be heard on Music Choice Dance weekly.
