In the late 1980's when the music world was being transformed, entrepreneurs Gary Salzman & Joe Koppie formed Big Management, an innovative and revolutionary company. With the music industry growing and dance music making its move into the main stream, there was a void in the area of professional management for new artists, especially where DJ and producers were concerned.
Big Management was the first company to tour their DJs through Europe as "DJ Artists". This was the brainchild of Gary Salzman. By having the DJs play their own music, they would develop a following loyal to their sound. Mr. Salzman started this with Tony Humphries and Todd Terry, and continues today with Jason Nevins and Ray Roc.
Over the last 16 years, Big Management has evolved into Big Management & Entertainment, a full service music and entertainment company. We have expanded our focus to promotions, A&R consulting, and assisting both independent and major labels with their dance and mainstream projects. BM&E is also involved with BMG publishing worldwide signing and developing new writers in dance/pop music.

Over the years, Tony Moran has been a major contributor to the dance and pop music scene. Whether as a music editor, record producer, songwriter, singer or DJ, he has stayed on top of his game, exhibiting time and time again that his creativity is unrestricted.

" I don't try to reinvent myself. I work at making music and playing music because I love it. I don't set boundaries, nor do I allow them be built around me," explains Tony. "I go where the music takes me."
Tony has written and remixed for: Gloria Estefan, Celine Dion, Janet Jackson, Whitney Houston and more recently Cher, Donna Summer, Becky Baeling,Britney Spears, Kevin Aviance, Deborah Cooper, Beyonce Knowles and Deborah Cox.
Today, Tony Moran enjoys being back in the DJ booth. " I never left the turntables," he says. "I had been keeping my sets more private as I spent more time in the recording studio. But DJing provides a spectacular way of communicating and sharing all the love and passion that is inside of me. When I see my friends and other new faces enjoying themselves on the dance floor, it is a huge payoff and the energy that I feel gets poured back into what I create in the studio," explains Tony.
